Here at Pure Running, our go to brand for hats and caps is Vaga. Vaga is a brand that comes from the Lake District, focusing on creating high-end products for runners in mind. Beginning with just one cap, they have grown in popularity to have a wide range of caps and hats. One of the best things about Vaga, is the range of caps they have to support a range of activities. Even better, they are incredibly stylish and perfect for the summer sun... if it ever arrives in Belfast!

The Feather Racing and Edge
Vaga's Feather range are preformance-led caps which are light in weight and feature a racing peak and light-weight materials that are open-pore padded and have a high-wick ability. As Vaga themselves highlight, this range is ideal for all distances. Whether its a fast summer 5k or a marathon somewhere sunny, it performs best when you want to focus on being as light as a feather. The side panels in the Racing cap have side panels that help air pass freely down the runners head and keep temperatures down, highlighting their ability to cool runners down in intense heat.
Club and Night Club
The Club cap is for all types of runners, and is perfect for any type of activity. The club name comes from the idea of running with others in a 'run club' idea and is perfect for running on the road, track, trails and the mountains. It includes the sweat-absorbing band and a perfect peak, and can be put through its paces and stay in great condition. The Night version of the club cap has allowed for a reflective aspect to be added to the hat, which is great for running at night.

The Vaga Fell cap is a perfect cap for our ever-changing Irish weather, where one minute you could be in the sunshine and the next in the middle of a storm. My Vaga Experience
My personal favourite Vaga Cap is the Club cap. I think it is a great fit and is comfortable and the sweat band is non-irritatating. I like the Vaga cap as I wear contact lenses and if I don't have a suitable cap sometimes the sweat can get into my eyes, which is painful. The absorbing sweat-lining in the hats really helps to prevent this from happening, and has saved me on many occasions!
