Saucony Endorphin Speed 4

Working in Pure Running means that when you go to races, your eyes tend to wander to people's feet to find out what shoes they are wearing to race in.  As I lined up on the mall in Armagh to race in the 3km I was surrounded by a range of carbon plated super-shoes.  However, I had chosen to race in the Saucony Endorphin Speed 4, a shoe that has a nylon plate, which traditionally isn't  as fast as the Carbon Plated shoe. Yet, as I came down the finishing straight past the carbon-platers, I knew they were the speed shoe for me.  They were so good I even got a PB.

The Endorphin Speed 4 is an excellent and versatile shoe.  Its use of the nylon plate means that you can get an extra boost of speed, whilst not being firm as some of the Carbon options.  This makes it suitable for everything from speed sessions, tempo runs, and even to the start line of the race highlighting its versatility compared to a hard Carbon Plate. Personally, I use my Speeds for all my track workouts, hills sessions and even road races like the Raheny 5 Miler and the Armagh 3km, highlighting its effectiveness across a range of distances.

If you are looking for a shoe to make your sessions a bit easier, or even a faster shoe for racing in that's not carbon-plated definitely consider the Saucony Endorphin Speed 4.
