Emily's favourite racing shoe: Puma Women's Deviate NITRO Elite 4
As a first time buyer of carbon plated shoes, I initially was a bit sceptical that they were all talk no show but I cast my doubts aside and gave the Deviate NITRO Elite 4s a try.
The Deviate Nitro Elite 4 is a fast, lightweight carbon-plated racing shoe that feels built for speed. Mine got their debut at the Ballymena Belles 5 miler and secured me a podium spot.
I was seriously impressed, the shoes feel lighter than air and I could definitely feel difference during my race. The combination of NITRO Elite foam and a carbon plate gives a responsive, energetic ride that helps you pick up the pace without feeling overly aggressive.
What I like most about the shoe is its versatility. It's quick enough for race day but comfortable enough for training sessions too. The shoes look great too!
Whether you're targeting a 5k PB or preparing for a marathon, the Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 4 is a fantastic option. It's fast comfortable, and makes every run feel just a bit easier.
