DUBLIN MARATHON 2025

Another year, another herd of Deer in Phoenix Park confused as to why thousands of runners wearing fluorescent vests, and super shoes are once again invading their territory in search of Strava kudos, and glory. 

However, this year was different, as it was 20 years since Pure Running stepped foot in the RDS Arena for the Dublin Marathon Expo.

We had Lewis joining us from Goodr, donning his classic funky Hawaiian shirt, slipping and bouncing his way around the Expo, unlike the Goodr sunglasses (which are non-slip and non-bounce). 

The Vaga boys Craig and Eric tipped us off with their fresh range of running headwear. A brand that have been going from strength to strength over the past year. 

Also on deck, we had Matt  from Oofos comforting us with arch cradling goodness for that post-Marathon recovery. 

Last but not least, our good friend Dean, representing Ronhill, brought his usual class and enthusiasm. A brand we've been selling since day one of the store, before we were even called Pure Running.

A special shoutout to our newly 50+ age category team member Barry who broke the 2:40 barrier, running a rapid 2:38:07. 

Piarais pierced through his Debut Marathon, running Sub 3! Co-workers stated he was so fast they didn't even see him pass the 25 mile mark.

Dublin Marathon is an event we look forward to every year, and we can't wait to be a part of it for many years to come.
