Altra

We recently held an Altra run from the store in Belfast, to test the brand new Altra Fwd Via. 

I have been wearing Altra since we started stocking them 8 years ago and I am a huge fan. It’s what I wear everyday while I am on my feet in the shop, the only variation is what model or colour. I love the wider, foot shaped toe box (this is what really differentiates the brand from others that we stock). This means your toes can spread out naturally and makes them really comfortable for long periods of wear and why they have become popular with ultrarunners.

The low to zero drop is also a more natural position for your foot to be, this then distributes the weight across the foot more evenly reducing excessive pressure on your forefoot (essentially the opposite of high heels and I am like bambi on ice in those). This encourages a more efficient, functional movement pattern.
